Simulation study on penetration depth of spherical fragments into concrete

چکیده

Abstract In order to study the influence of different spherical fragments on penetration depth concrete targets, AUTODYN-2D software is used model and simulate with diameters, materials velocities. Through analysis data, it found that tungsten alloy will not continue increase at higher speeds (when v > 1400 m / s, begins decrease). The process fragment penetrating analyzed, relationship between velocity, diameter, material parameters strength clarified. simulation results show curve are quite different, due high utilization rate fragments, calculation formula respect obtained by fitting data. under diameters velocities can be predicted accurately this formula.
